28.02.2017 - IBG-3 Agrosphere, Forschungszentrum Jülich

The Institute of Bio- and Geosciences – Agrosphere (IBG-3) is seeking a PhD Student with a degree in Natural Sciences / (Bio)Engineering Sciences (Reference number 2016-292) for a three-year project.

This PhD position is part of the DFG Project: ‘How soil properties affect processes inside the soil and at the soil-atmosphere interface – interweaving experimental and modeling approaches’ The general objective of the project is to improve the understanding of evaporation processes from structured soils with rough surfaces.

The IBG-3 conducts research to improve our understanding of hydrological and biogeochemical processes in terrestrial systems. Its research contributes to the sustainable and resource-conserving use of soils and water.
